There’s something about the Edge of the Wild that keeps calling us back.
There is a place in our hearts where the dark and dreary days of modern society imprison our spirit - holding hostage our imagination.
We stand surrounded in this darkness, searching for hope. Searching for a way to break free from its confinement and into the subconscious light that guided the primal instincts of our ancestors.
For many, our salvation can only be found in the first light filtering through the moss covered old-growth timber, the silence broken by pounding heart beats and bugling elk and journeys through miles of backcountry thickets, bogs and bushes. It’s in these Hell Holes, where patience and perseverance matter more than luck, that we are reminded of the magic we once danced in.
This idea is the foundation of Edge of the Wild, the official blog of The Shadow Walker Group.
This isn’t just another hunting blog. It’s a gathering of people who need to feel the exhilarating rush of magic that can only be found in the shadows of those wild places calling us home.
